has been teaching since 1990 courses on urbanism, architecture and Renaissance theory topics at the Department of Art History, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb; was teaching and supervising dissertations at the Doctoral studies of the same department, and was its Director 1997-1999. She was also teaching at the Doctoral studies of Interuniversity centre Dubrovnik; at Doctoral studies Scuola Studi Avanzati, Venice and since 2002 at Master Europeo in Storia dell’Architettura, Roma, founded by Universit\u00e0 degli Studi Roma Tre, Universit\u00e9 Paris 8, Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid i Universit\u00e9 de Provence-Aix-Marseille 1. Since 1984 she is a collaborator at CESR \u2013 Universit\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ois Rabelais, Tours, and since 2003 a collaborator at Centre Andr\u00e9 Chastel, INHA Paris. She held lectures at the University J. W. Goethe, Frankfurt, University of Gen\u00e8ve, Lausanne and Pavia. From 1964 to 1990 she was a researcher at the Institute of Art History conducting studies and research on more than 1500 churches, monasteries, public buildings, systems of defence, residential buildings and residential assemblies as well as on urban development and the changes of the urban tissue in the numerous towns on the Eastern Adriatic coast and especially in Dubrovnik.<\/p>\n
As a leader and coordinator she conducted the conservational studies in Dubrovnik after the earthquake 1979 and the war 1991-1995 to facilitate the quality renovation of the urban tissue.<\/p>\n
N. Gruji\u0107 was PI of the projects “Public and residential architecture in Dalmatia” (2007-2013); “Kne\u017eev dvor in Dubrovnik” (2002-2006); “Residential architecture in Dubrovnik and its region in 15th and 16th century” (1996-2001); “Dubrovnik \u2013 modifications of the urban tissue and typology of residential architecture 15th -16th century” (1992-1995).<\/p>\n
N. Gruji\u0107\u2019s research interests are urban development, changes of urban tissue, public building, residential architecture, urban history of the towns on the Eastern Adriatic Coast especially Dubrovnik.<\/p>\n
